SCIENCE BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Celebrate your child's next birthday at the Science Museum of Long Island. We have a variety of fun hand-on activities to choose from to make your party a success.
Our birthday parties are designed for children ages 4 and up.
Because of the Covid-19 risks, all parties will be limited to 12 children.
Masks are required inside the SMLI buildings.

Have the "coolest" birthday party ever! Learn how temperature affects solids, liquids, and gasses and what happens when things get really cold. Learn the science behind liquid nitrogen as we instantly freeze objects and perform many other experiments

What was the earth like 50 million years ago? Find out how scientists use fossils to learn how dinos and other prehistoric animals lived. Visit our paleo lab to help us unearth some prehistoric bones.

Are you afraid of spiders? If not, our creepy crawly friends would make a great addition to any birthday party. Learn the difference between insects and spiders and meet some of our arthropod friends.
