The Science Museum of Long Island (SMLI) has been providing hands-on science activities to schools, families, public and private institutions for over 50 years. Here at SMLI, we are committed to fostering and nurturing children’s interest in science by providing quality educational programming that is fun, engaging, and informative.

 

We have no endowment or significant sources of revenue other than fees charged for our programs and the value of contributed services. Therefore, donations to the Science Museum of Long Island play a vital role in maintaining and developing operations.
