MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 9 AM - 5 PM
LEEDS POND PRESERVE:
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC 7 DAYS A WEEK SUNRISE TO SUNSET.
PLEASE NOTE BUILDINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS OPEN WHEN THE PRESERVE IS OPEN. PARKING IS PROHIBITED AT THE PRESERVE AFTER DARK.
HOURS OF OPERATION
FROM EASTERN LONG ISLAND: Take exit 27 on the Northern State Parkway or Exit 36 to Shelter Rock Road on the Long Island Expressway. Turn right off the exit ramp and proceed north towards Northern Blvd (25A). Turn Left on 25A. Take your next right hand turn at the second stop light on to Plandome Road. Continue for approx. 2 miles. Turn left at 3-way intersection to continue on Plandome Road. Take a right after the bend with Leeds Pond on your right and Manhasset Bay on your left.
FROM QUEENS & WESTERN LONG ISLAND: From the LIE (Eastbound), take exit 33 Lakeville Rd. At the second light, take a left on to Community Drive. Go under the expressway and pass North Shore Hospital before turning right on Northern Blvd. (Rte 25A). At the 6th light take a left on to Plandome Rd. Follow directions above.
BUSSES/TRUCKS: DO NOT TAKE STONYTOWN RD DUE TO LOW BRIDGE CLEARANCE.
