The Science Museum of Long Island and Transition Town Port Washington invite you to BREAK FREE FROM PLASTIC with this special outdoor movie screening of Microplastic Madness. $10 per adult. Free for 18 and under.

2021 SMLI ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Join the Science Museum of Long Island as we celebrate and review a challenging but successful year and show our appreciation for all of the people who joined us on the journey. Featuring fun and education for the whole family with guest speaker Mongolian Paleontologist Bolortsetseg Minjin, Ph.D. and action packed dinosaur themed activities for the kids including: exploring our paleo lab, excavating real fossils or making your own fossil to take home with you! After the activities enjoy dinner and mingling at the food trucks!   Free for all SMLI members. Registration is required.  Please RSVP by clicking the button below. Non-Members are also invited to join for a fee of: $10 (adult) and $15 (child).

Members are invited to stay afterwards for our special outdoor movie screening of Jurassic Park for a special members rate of only $5 per person!

JOIN SMLI FOR A ROARING GOOD TIME!

Bring a blanket and Chairs & watch Jurassic Park like it has never been seen before on our giant state-of-the-art movie screen! Enjoy dinner from our food truck court, dino-themed science demonstrations, special effects and much more!

Non-Members: $12 per person. Members: $5

This is an outdoor event so please remember to dress accordingly and bring a blanket and chairs to sit on!
