SMLI AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

​SMLI's After School Clubs are designed to enhance children's science education and inspire a love of learning through unique, hands-on and experimental learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Each session features unique themes inspired by niche scientific topics and the seasons. 

Off-Site After School Programs

Sensory Science with SMLI

Explore the world around us through all of our senses at our Caregiver-and-Me morning class! Each day will feature a short storybook, a sensory science activity and related craft.

  • Location: Parent Resource Center:

  • Time: Tuesdays 9:30 am - 10:15 am

  • Age: 18 months - 3 years with a caregiver

STEM Lab with SMLI

Let the science fun continue after school! Each week will feature a unique science topic, including hands-on activities, projects and more!

  • Location: Parent Resource Center

  • Time: Thursdays 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm

  • Age: 5-7 years old (drop off program)

On-Site After School Programs

Science in Nature w/ PRC

Connect with your little one through nature in this Caregiver-and-Me class through the PRC. Each week will feature nature exploration on Leeds Pond Preserve, hands-on activities, projects and more!

  • Location: SMLI Cottage

  • Time: Thursdays 9:30 am - 10:15 am

  • Age: 18 months - 3 years old with a caregiver

Dungeons & Dragons Club

Join us at SMLI's Dungeons & Dragons Club! This club is for players both new and experienced, all are welcome! Players will learn the mechanics of the game as they roleplay their character and help build the world they play in. Sessions are run by an adult Game Master and include small lessons on character creation, world building, and even how to run a game. 

  • Location: SMLI Norwood House

  • Time: Tuesdays 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

  • Age: 6th - 9th Grade
