SCOUT TROOP PROGRAMS

SMLI provides exciting, hands-on scout programs that are a great way for scouts to complete the necessary requirements to earn their next badge/pin. We offer programs for all levels of girl scouts and cub scouts.​  See the different programs we offer below:​

Scout Troops can now sign up for our new SMLI Scouts Membership to receive  a 10% discount on all scout badge and overnight programs booked with SMLI for 1 year.

Scout Badge Programs

Earn outdoor badges in the woods or at the beach, animal-based badges with our live mammals and reptiles, and much more. 

Information:​​

  • Cost: 

    • $200 base price - includes up to 15 scouts​

    • $13 per additional scout/tag-a-long

    • Max 25 scouts per program.

  • Availability:

    • Monday-Friday, 4:30pm latest start time.​

    • Saturdays & Sundays, 11:30am & 3pm start time available.

Sleepover at the Science Museum!

 Join us for an unforgettable overnight experience complete with a night hike, campfire, and morning beach walk. Troops are responsible for bringing dinner, breakfast, s’more ingredients, sleeping bags, blankets, videos, DVDs and games.

Friday Night Schedule:                                                      

  • 5:00-6:00 pm: Troop arrives, settles in, and has dinner  

  • 6:00-7:30 pm: Badge Program                               

  • 8:00-9:30 pm: Campfire and night hike 

Saturday Morning Schedule:

  • 7:00-8:00 am- Breakfast and pack up belongings

  • 8:00-9:00 am- Beach Walk

  • 9:00am- Troop departs

Additional Scouts: $40 each (max 25 scouts)
Additional Adults: $5 each 
*Please note, our registration system shows available dates up to 5 months in advance. 
 

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

​DATE CHANGES:​

  • Badges: Changes to the date within 2 weeks: subject to a $25 administrative fee 

  • Overnights: Changes to date within 30 days: subject to $25 administrative fee 

  • Availability for rescheduled programs cannot be guaranteed.  

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Overnights: Cancellations made within 1 month of a scheduled overnight: full remind, minus $50 admin fee 

  • Badges: Cancellations made within 2 weeks of a scheduled program: full credit to account, minus $25 admin fee 

  • No refunds/credits will be issued to programs cancelled day of, except for emergency situations. These situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis by SMLI.
