Saturday, October 11th: Inventions of the Renaissance

Leonardo da Vinci designed a variety of innovative 'flying machine' that gave to scientists basic understanding of aerodynamics. In this exploratory and hands-on workshop, families will learn how Da Vinci's designs were inspired by animal flight, and explore the basic principles of flight and physics, while taking on the challenge of building one of Da Vinci's glider prototypes.

Cost: This workshop is free of charges thanks to the support of the John Michael Marino Foundation. Spots are extremely limited to 10 families only. Please note that each family will receive 1 DIY glider kit to assemble and take home during the workshop.
