ABOUT
SMLI's Discoveries After Dark series embraces the world of science at night! Each evening features a pizza dinner, followed by hands-on science activities and exploration. We'll finish off the night with a campfire and smore's making led by an SMLI educator.
Friday, April 17th: Owl Prowl
Learn about Long Island's native owls, dissect owl pellets to discover what they eat, then journey into Leeds Pond Preserve to find them. We'll visit our homemade owl nests and some other likely resting spots before settling down at our campsite for a campfire and some s'mores.
Cost: $35 per child. Adult registrations will receive a $10 discount (date of birth must be listed on Amilia profile for discount to process)
