Join the Science Museum of Long Island for our annual membership meeting featuring a special Presentation by FRANK PICCININNI of Spadefoot Design and Construction on the stewardship and restoration efforts of the 36-acre Leeds Pond Preserve at the Science Museum of Long Island.
Informed by his field research in ecology, Frank founded Spadefoot Design and Construction, LLC. Through Spadefoot, habitat restoration services are offered to private, public, and commercial clients. Spadefoot specializes in invasive species identification and removal, ecological restoration, construction of green stormwater infrastructure (e.g., bioswales and rain gardens), and adaptive management.

The presentation will be followed by our Great Pumpkin Smash annual fall festival featuring live music by American Indie Band Daisy the Great!
