ABOUT

SMLI's Discoveries After Dark series embraces the world of science at night! Each evening features a pizza dinner, followed by hands-on science activities and exploration. We'll finish off the night with a campfire and smore's making led by an SMLI educator. 


Friday, May 1st: Mysterious Moths

Discover the mesmerizing world of moths in this enchanting family workshop! As the sun sets, we’ll explore the fascinating lives of these nocturnal insects, learning about their unique adaptations, diverse species, and the vital roles they play in our ecosystems. Together, we’ll engage in hands-on activities, including moth identification, light trapping, and more.


Cost: $35 per child. Adult registrations will receive a $10 discount (date of birth must be listed on Amilia profile for discount to process)
