Prepare for a botanical bonanza as we uncover the exciting world of plants at this Holiday Workshop! Dissect plants and learn all about their different parts and how they function. Learn about edible and medicinal plants - including ones that live in our preserve, and much more!

ABOUT

Children ages four and up are welcome to join SMLI on their days off from school to enjoy hours of fun, hand-on science activities!  Children will participate in experiments, create crafts, and observe demonstrations.

  • All holiday workshops run from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm
  • Holiday workshops are drop-off programs.  Please enter through the SMLI bus entrance.
  • Please send your child with a packed lunch
  • Children are grouped by grade starting with pre-k (4 years old). Some grades may be grouped together.
